I grew up in a catholic home where alcohol created so many problems for our family. I never knew anything about any other church other than the ritualistic services held at mass.  In my teen years I began to follow the footsteps of my family and began sneaking a drink or two of alcohol.  Soon I acquired a taste and enjoyed the feeling that it brought along with it. Not much long after my first experiences of alcohol I began trying other drugs. From my teen years to the age of 31 my life was spiraling in complete chaos.  I lived for alcohol and drugs.  I literally set out each day to chase after these things that at that time I believed brought my happiness and joy.  I was wrong.  This lifestyle brought me heartache, pain, frustration, jail sentences and probation.  I was in and out of jail for 18 years.  During the last year and a half of my addiction I began injecting methamphetamine into my veins. My life continued to spiral out of control much faster. In December of 2008 while on a meth binge in Los Angeles County, we were pulled over by an LA Sheriff.  I had drugs and syringes in my posession.  I was so concentrated on hiding the meth that I forgot I had the syringes in my front pocket.  As the sheriff pulled me out of the vehicle and searched me he pulled the syringes out of my pocket and pushed me up against the vehicle and drew his weapon and pointed it in my face and yelled at me asking why didn't I tell him that I had syringes in my pocket!  The Sheriff also found the meth that I tried to hide.  From January to the time of my sentencing in July of 2009 I continued using as if I didn't have a care in the world.  I had no regard for my own life, only the drugs and alcohol.  I continued chasing drugs and alcohol until the day I got sentenced by the court.  The court sentenced me to an in-patient drug rehabilitaion program of my choice.  At this time I literally told all my so called friends that I was going to a drug program to get the court system off my back and that "I would be back"  Boy did God have other plans for me.  I searched for a live-in drug program but all the programs that I called wanted a considerable amount of money for monthly rent.  I did not have enough money for the monthly rent of the programs so I went on another drug binge to make my problems go away.  My problems did not go away.  During this time I exceeded the amount of time that the court gave me to find a program and I never showed back up for court.  I was on the run with a search warrant for my arrest.  At this time my nephew admitted himself into a drug rehabilitation program program called LifeLine Outreach.  He reached out to me and told me that I didn't need money to check into the program.  I called and asked if I could be admitted and was scheduled for admittance the following week.  On September 14, 2009 I checked myself into the program. I literally fell into the hands of the Living God.  Little did I know that my life would forever be changed.  I would later find out that the program I admitted myself into was Gods' program.  By the 3rd sunday of being in the program God filled me with the Gift of the Holy Ghost. God began a miraculous work in my life.  I never knew church to be like this, I was so used to the traditional catholic mass.  I never knew about anointed Holy Ghost Fire preaching. I never knew about the Apostles Doctrine or the Apostolic Church.  LifeLine Outreach is Apostolic drug rehabilitation program and literally a LifeLine for lost and broken men.  It is a Bible boot camp for men that desire to allow God to shape, mold and change their lives through the Power of the Holy Ghost and the Word of God.  I began my journey in learning about the Truth of Gods' Word and I was baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ in accordance to Acts 2:38 in October of 2009.  God delivered me from the drugs and alcohol of my past and he can deliver you too!  On March 20, 2011 I graduated from LifeLine Outreach.

Pastor Rojo had been praying for someone to fill the role of the media ministry.  In January of 2013 I came to Rock of Zion and was the answer to that prayer.  I have been serving under Pastor Rojo and his leadership since this time.

Favorite Scriptures:

Proverbs 18:10 The Name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it and is safe"

Act 2:38  Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
